The U16A, U15 and U14A netball teams are through to the Qualifying Rounds of the International Showdown Cup!

The U14B Netball team is through to the Qualifying Round of the Challenger shield! 

These competitions will be played on Wednesday throughout the day! Wish us Luck!

Morning meeting at 8am ready for a morning of Netball coaching! England Netball are running the coaching sessions with England netball players coming in to lead special skills sessions.

Needless to say the girls are very excited and working extremely hard.

Brilliant day at the park and playing Netball!  (Unfortunately very little internet signal to update you regularly with photos)

SHORT but important meeting for all Disneyland Paris Netball players at 12.25 in the sports hall Wednesday 21 October to collect final itinerary and luggage tags!

Roles and Responsibilities

Initial Information

Junior International Netball Tournament: U16, 15 & 14 Netball to Disneyland Paris October 2015

Sheffield High School U16A, 15A and 14A & B Netball squads travel to take part in the Junior International Netball Tournament at Disneyland Paris.  They will be accompanied by Miss Thorneloe, Mrs Davidson, Heather Reid (Physiotherapist) and sixth form coaches Hannah Bolderson and Ashrelle Parker-Belgrave.

The tour will leave Sheffield to travel by coach to Paris on Sunday 25 October before settling into the Davy Crockett Ranch cabins. On Monday 26 October the girls will play in the pool stage of the International Junior Netball Tournament with time at the end of the day to enjoy Disneyland and the Walt Disney Studios Park.

There are netball coaching clinics during Tuesday 27 October delivered by England Netball experienced coaches with more time in the late afternoon and evening in the parks.

On Wednesday 28 October the girls will play in a tournament appropriate to their standard determined by their play in the pool stage.

All festival matches are played on indoor courts and there is a Dinner and Awards Ceremony in the evening.

We travel by coach from school to Paris and across the Channel by ferry.

Food

• Continental breakfast each day is included

• Packed lunches on the three days of netball are also included

• Dinner and Awards Ceremony on Wednesday is also prepaid

• Girls will need money for their evening meal in the parks

• Question and answer session with international celebrities

• We will be travelling on GDST insurance that is already paid in your fees

Other features
Each girl will also have a 3-Day Hopper Ticket to Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park

Passport

Please bring your passport into school so we can make a photocopy.  You will also need your EHIC European Health Insurance Card

Training
You must now be attending your own age group netball club after school as well as Friday lunchtimes.
